With the Oscars right around the corner, I find myself in the mood to talk about evening gowns. Plus with fashion week going on right now, there is so many pictures floating around of the most gorgeous gowns I have ever seen, that I just can't resist talking about them. Sorry for being repetitive, but these dresses deserve their time in the spotlight! I just love them all.

Part of Ralph Lauren's fall 2012 collection focused on a series of ultra-luxe evening dresses. Like a beautiful black satin dress topped with a gold-painted ostrich feather cape, and several gorgeous fitted black gowns, adorned with stunning gold embellishments. It was rich with vintage glamour and classic themes that Ralph Lauren is known for, and of course not lacking in the impeccable attention to detail. These dresses are killer and would look amazing on any woman. I can't wait to see which celebrities will be wearing these pieces on the red carpet. Each one is so breathtakingly magnificent!

I came across this Polyvore set today and I thought it was beautiful and really well made. It initially caught my eye because of the gorgeous emerald green Gucci blazer. I absolutely love everything about it! It sorta has a tuxedo quality about it, which is so modern and charming. Emma Stone looked so cute at the People's Choice Awards. This is a great example of the menswear trend without looking too masculine. The bold color jacket paired with classic black pants and neutral accessories is the perfect combination. I previously mentioned my obsession with the color green, and this coat is no exception. It's safe to say that I am currently obsessed! Gucci's recent pieces are simply incredible. I long to have something similar to this in my closet. If only I could get up tomorrow morning and throw this look on for work. Well, you can't blame me for dreaming!

In the spirit of Valentine's Day me, my sister Erin, her fiance Josh, and Andrew decided it would be a wonderful idea to go to the chocolate and wine festival this weekend. As planned, it turned out to be so much fun! The four of  us had the best time together hanging out and checking out five different wineries. We basically did a "wine crawl" and got to taste lots of amazing wines and food, and of course some yummy chocolate. I discovered that I have a new love for Zinfindels and Syrahs, which is awesome because I really enjoy trying new wines that are so good. This was a great pre-Vday treat for sure, and I can't wait to do it again next year!

This post really has no rhyme or reason behind it. I just wanted to share things I think are beautiful and that make me happy. I am so tired from a long work week, so tonight I'm laying low with Andrew.  I hope you enjoy the pictures and feel inspired like I do. Happy weekend everyone!

So I have enough empty MAC cases to get two free lipsticks. I already promised Andrew's little sister I would give her Russian Red (my personal fav) so that she won't have to borrow mine anymore-not that I mind, but it's nice to have your very own. That takes away one, so now I get to figure out what to get for myself. I don't really need red lipstick because I already have tons. However, I have this perception that as a red-head I can't pull many colors off. The pink lip color on this model is stunning and I absolutely love it, but she has a more ginger red, where as I am a more Ariel red (remember little mermaid? Yup, I'm that kind of red). Clearly I'm uncertain what to get, so I suppose I'll have to rely on the MAC girls for their expertise. Mmmm, decisions! What do you guys think?

Today was so pretty! The sun was out and the temperature was perfect. It felt like a beautiful spring day (even though the groundhog predicted 6 more weeks of winter). So I wore my new white blazer and favorite tan boots, threw on my leopard scarf, and called it a day. It was a good outfit to run around in and finish my errands, the activity I do on most Saturdays. I hope everyone is enjoying the gorgeous weather like I am, and who knows, if it stays nice maybe Andrew and I can rides our bikes this weekend!
